My Grandmother was - Sarah Anne Cowley - born 31 Dec 1872 - Quinton. Her Mother was Esther Smith - born 3rd Feb 1834 - Long Marston - married to - Joseph Cowley - born 7th June 1836 ish Quinton.

It'a a while since I have been on sight as I have been doing my side of the Wiltshire Cowley's and their extended lot. I am also doing the Watson's who are on the paternal line and the maternal side which comprises the McDonald's, Baxter's and Brimer's all from Scotland, and to date have a list in excess of 14,000 people who I am slowly confirming as being related.

Researching my own family history I found a wealth of information when I put Marshalls Temperance Hotel into Google! Carolie Ellen was the sister of my Grandfather Thomas Deakin Williams. I knew Auntie Beat well and Carrie too(and her cats!)I visited ofter as a child and always on Carnival night because there was such a good view from the upstairs windows! My Father was Arthur Kingsley son of Thomas Deakin and his brother Mr Thomas Williams who appeared on the Wedding present List was my Uncle. So many memories have surfaced from this chsnce viewing of your History.
