Using the search facility

• This search facility is entirely dependent on how often, and to what depth Google indexes this website. (I have yet to fully understand the inner workings of the ‘Google bots’!)

• The search will only return results from this site, not from the web.

• For a precise search, enclose the search term in quotes - for example, “Charles Leonard Cowley”.  Without the quotes the results page may list many irrelevant links.

• Clicking on a link will open the requested page in a new window.

• Please ignore any links to family tree maps.  These are not currently available but Google hasn’t caught up yet!
